Method
- Wash and cut lemons in half. Juice them over a strainer into a large measuring cup until you have 2 cups of fresh juice.
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar. Heat on medium-high, stirring until sugar dissolves. Do not boil. Remove from heat.
- Let syrup cool for 10 minutes. In a pitcher, mix the fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup. Stir well to create lemonade concentrate.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice. Add ⅓ concentrate and top with cold water. Stir and adjust to taste.
